HOCKEY WARS

Hockey WARS 2019

This year we had a hockey wars tournament on Saturday the 16th of March. Twelve teams entered the tournament and after a long day of good hockey, it was a huge success. At the end of the day everyone enjoyed a Boereworsroll together as the future of Willowridge's hockey.

Anyone is welcome to participate, you do not have to play hockey to enter. You can enter as a team (5 players per team) or as an individual. There will be prizes to be won.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Well done to our U/16 girls who went through to the play-offs.

Northern Gauteng

Congratulations to Chloe Mosley and Tinique Rosenburg who made the U/18 Northerns hockey team. Tinique Rosenburg represented Northern Gauteng Blues at the annual IPT. It is the second year that Tinique represented Gauteng North. She was the goalscorer of the tournament during 2018.

Mrs. Pienaar represented the Northerns CDS team at the annual IPT. She also represented Northern Gauteng at the annual Action Hockey IPT where they placed second overall.
