Invitation for Legal Services Proposals

 

Willowridge High School is seeking proposals from qualified legal firms to provide legal services for a three-year period, from 1 April 2025 to 1 April 2028. Interested firms are invited to submit their proposals in accordance with the outlined requirements.

 

Key Requirements:

 

1. Experience in litigation in the schooling environment

2. Good standing with the Law Society of South Africa (LPC)

3. At least one legal practitioner with 5+ years of experience

4. Registration with the relevant professional body

 

Proposal Content:

 

1. Contact details

2. Applicant's ID, CV and references

3. Company Registration Certificate

4. Tax clearance certificate

5. Declaration of interest

6. Comprehensive proposal addressing the requirements specified in Annexure A

 

Timeline:

 

1. Deadline for submission: 10 March 2025 at 14h00

2. Evaluation and adjudication: March 2025

3. Notification of successful applicant: by 28 March 2025

 

Scope of Work (Annexure A):

 

1. 24/7 telephone support

2. Familiarity with GDE policies

3. Assistance with drafting and reviewing policies

4. Representation at CCMA and labour relations support

5. Disciplinary procedure action and management advice/support
